On every listing, the “Message Seller” button starts a conversation with the seller. You need an account with a confirmed email address for that.
If you're not signed in yet, you'll be asked to sign in first. Every conversation you have then shows up under Messages.
Web addresses in chat messages are removed automatically, the same as in listing descriptions.
Pedalia takes no part in the sale itself: price, where you meet and how you pay are agreed between you and the seller. It's best to keep the conversation on Pedalia until you've met, and never send a copy of your ID or your online banking details.
“Report this user”, right inside the conversation, reports the person you're messaging. You can also block them there via “Block person”, independent of any report. Both — reporting from a conversation and blocking — are explained in more detail in “How do I report a listing, a shop or a user account?”.
