Terms of Use

1.1. By accessing the platform, the user agrees to these Terms of Use.

1.2. The General Terms and Conditions, the Listing Rules and the Privacy Policy apply in addition. For advertisers, the General Terms and Conditions prevail.

2.1. The platform may be used to search for listings, to contact advertisers about a specific listing, and to publish listings of your own.

2.2. Platform content may be viewed and saved for personal, non-commercial use. Any use beyond that requires prior written consent.

3.1. The use of automated means — in particular crawlers, bots, scripts or scraping tools — to systematically extract, reproduce or re-use platform content is not permitted unless expressly authorised.

3.2. Acts liable to impair the availability, integrity or security of the platform are not permitted, in particular attempts to overload it, circumventing access restrictions, and exploiting security vulnerabilities.

3.3. Creating user accounts using false information, creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, and assuming another person's identity are not permitted.

3.4. Using contact details obtained via the platform for advertising, bulk messaging or any purpose other than pursuing the specific transaction is not permitted.

3.5. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it using the contact details in the Imprint rather than exploiting or publishing it.

4.1. The contact function is intended solely for communication about a specific listing. Advertising, third-party offers and messages unrelated to the listing are not permitted.

4.2. Messages may be examined in order to investigate abuse reports and to comply with legal obligations. The details are set out in the Privacy Policy.

5.1. Pedalia is not a party to any transaction and verifies neither the identity of users nor the items listed. Buying and selling are at your own risk.

5.2. We recommend inspecting the item in person before buying, checking the frame number, and obtaining a receipt.

5.3. Be cautious with offers priced well below market value, with demands for advance payment, with requests to pay by unusual means, and with messages pressing you to communicate outside the platform.

5.4. Pedalia will never ask you by email or message to disclose passwords or complete payment details.

6.1. Listings and user accounts that breach the Listing Rules or applicable law can be reported using the reporting function or the contact details given in the Imprint.

6.2. Reports are reviewed promptly. Decisions to remove or restrict content are not taken on a solely automated basis and are explained to those affected.

7.1. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability of the platform. Maintenance and technical faults may lead to temporary restrictions.

7.2. Platform features may be changed, supplemented or discontinued at any time, provided this is reasonable for users.

8.1. In the event of breaches of these Terms of Use, individual features may be restricted, content removed, or user accounts suspended. The measure chosen depends on the seriousness of the breach and whether it is repeated.

8.2. A complaint may be lodged against such a decision within six months of receipt of the statement of reasons. Recourse to the courts remains unaffected.
